The Gorilla Grip G3 Traction Pad uses the Diamond III groove pattern to allow maximum contact with the grip. The G3 was designed for extreme surfing. The Diamond III pattern is specifically designed to increase traction when you push your foot back and to reduce resistance while moving your foot forward. High quality foam is used to make a tail pad that's lighter on your board and easier on your skin. Gorilla Grip Traction Pads have a unique "G-Cell" Foam (used in the G3 Pad) which is the highest quality Traction Pad material on the market. Gorilla Grip also uses 3M adhesive backing for long lasting hold. The G3 is a one piece shortboard pad that is simple and effective. No arch and a block wedge kick.
